Dominant terpenes
Caryophyllene
Black pepper, spice, woodThe only terpene that also binds cannabinoid receptors; peppery and warming.
Myrcene
Earthy, musky, ripe fruitThe most common cannabis terpene; associated with relaxing, heavy 'couch' character.
Limonene
Bright citrus, lemon, orangeAssociated with uplifted, stress-relieving character.
Grower's notes
Stretchy, vigorous, and outrageously frosty. Support everything; the resin load is real. A modern must-grow.
Grow guides for Original Glue (GG4)
Matched to this strain's intermediate difficulty, both climate, and tall structure.
- Setting Up the Space: Ventilation, Odor & Electrical SafetyHow to size your exhaust fan, kill the smell, seal light leaks, and wire a tent without starting a fire — the room build that makes everything else work.
- Indoor vs. Outdoor: Choosing How You'll GrowCost, control, yield, stealth, and effort compared honestly — plus a Western New York reality check on the outdoor season.
- Topping, FIM & Mainlining: Multiply Your ColasHigh-stress training that turns one main bud into many even tops — where to cut, when, and how to build a symmetrical manifold.
- SCROG: Screen of Green for Maximum CanopyThe flat-canopy training method that turns one plant into an even light-catching sheet — setup, weaving, and timing for the biggest yields per watt.
- When to Defoliate Cannabis: The Timing That Makes or Breaks ItDefoliation helps when done at the right time and hurts when done at the wrong time. The three safe defoliation windows, how much to remove at each, what to leave, and the stages where touching a leaf costs you yield.
- Temperature, Humidity, and VPD: The Environmental TriangleTemperature and humidity aren't separate dials — they're linked through VPD, the single number that tells you if your plant can breathe and transpire properly. How to read it, what ranges to target by growth stage, and how to fix common imbalances.
- Transplanting Cannabis — When, Why, and How to Pot UpPot up without transplant shock — timing signs, container sizing, and the exact technique for a stress-free move.
- Companion Planting for Cannabis — Allies Your Garden NeedsStrategic companion plants that repel pests, attract beneficials, improve soil, and camouflage your garden — naturally.
- Living Soil & No-Till: Feed the Soil, Not the PlantThe organic growing method where you build a living ecosystem in the pot — biology feeds the plant, you just water. Setup, recipes, and maintenance.
- Maximizing Bud Quality: Density, Frost, and Bag AppealThe controllable factors that separate dense, trichome-coated buds from airy popcorn — light intensity, temperature swings, nutrient timing, and the finishing tricks that competition growers use.
- Watering in Flower: Frequency, Runoff, and the Dry-Back CycleWatering changes when the plant starts flowering — bigger roots, more transpiration, different nutrient demand. How to read the plant, manage runoff, and avoid the overwatering trap that ruins late-flower buds.
- LED Grow Light Mastery: PPFD Maps, Spectrum Tuning, and DLI OptimizationBeyond the basics — how to read a PPFD map, tune spectrum for each stage, calculate DLI for your setup, and extract every photon of performance from modern LED panels.
- Late Flower and Ripening: Weeks 7–10 and the Finish LineThe final stretch of flower is where patience separates mediocre harvests from exceptional ones. What to feed, when to stop, how to read ripeness signals, and the last-week protocols that maximize potency and bag appeal.
- Making Hash: Bubble Hash, Dry Sift, and Ice Water ExtractionTurn trim and small buds into premium solventless concentrate. Full walkthrough of bubble hash and dry sift — equipment, technique, drying, grading, and what separates 6-star from cooking hash.
- Mainlining (Manifold Technique): Building a Symmetrical Plant from ScratchThe most structured training method in cannabis cultivation — how to top and train a plant into a perfectly symmetrical manifold with 8 or 16 equal colas. Slower than LST, but the canopy evenness is unmatched.
- Supercropping: The High-Stress Technique That Builds Bigger BranchesPinching and bending stems until they fold 90° — intentional high-stress training that triggers stronger regrowth, wider nutrient highways, and branch-level canopy control. When and how to use the most aggressive training tool.
- Feeding in Flower: The Week-by-Week Nutrient StrategyFlowering is when nutrient management matters most — the wrong ratio at the wrong time costs yield, potency, and bag appeal. A week-by-week feeding strategy from flip to flush for soil, coco, and hydro.
- Advanced Canopy Management: Even Light, Maximum YieldBeyond basic LST — how to build, maintain, and optimize a flat, even canopy where every bud site receives equal light. The techniques pro growers use to squeeze maximum yield from a fixed footprint.
- Growing in Cold Climates: Western New York and the Great Lakes SeasonShort summers, cold springs, early frost, and lake-effect humidity — how to grow cannabis outdoors (and optimize indoors) in the Great Lakes corridor, the Northeast, and other cold-climate regions.
- Cannabis Pest Identification: Spider Mites, Thrips, Fungus Gnats, and MoreSomething is eating your plant, leaving marks, or flying around the tent. A visual identification guide for the most common cannabis pests — what they look like, where to find them, the damage they cause, and the fastest fix for each.
- Maximizing Yield: Grams Per Watt and How to Increase ItYield isn't about luck or magic nutrients — it's the intersection of light, canopy management, nutrition, and environment. How to measure yield properly (grams per watt, not grams per plant), the factors that matter most, and practical changes that deliver the biggest improvements.
- Bud Rot (Botrytis): Identification, Prevention, and Damage ControlBud rot destroys harvests silently from the inside out — by the time you see gray fuzz on the surface, the core of the bud is already gone. How to identify it early, prevent it, and save what you can when it hits.
- PK Boosters and Bloom Supplements: What Works, What Doesn'tEvery nutrient company sells a bloom booster — extra phosphorus and potassium to fatten buds. Some deliver real results. Others are expensive water. How PK boosters work, when to use them, which ones are worth buying, and how to avoid the common overdose that actually shrinks your yield.
- When to Harvest: Reading Trichomes Like a GrowerClear, milky, amber — what trichome color actually tells you, how to check it with a $15 loupe, and picking your harvest window on purpose.
- Drying & Curing: Where Good Grows Become GreatThe 60/60 dry, the burp schedule, jar humidity targets, and how to rescue an over-dried harvest — the complete post-harvest playbook.
